Brass
Brass is a corrosion-resistant, yellow-gold alloy primarily composed of copper and zinc, with varying amounts of other elements like lead, tin, and iron. It is known for its excellent machinability, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Brass is widely used in applications requiring both strength and a decorative finish, such as plumbing fittings, electrical connectors, musical instruments, hardware, and automotive components. The alloy is available in different grades such as CZ121 (Leaded Brass), C36000 (Free-cutting Brass), and C27000 (Commercial Brass), each offering unique characteristics like improved machinability or higher corrosion resistance. Brass is also highly resistant to corrosion, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
