Fordge Fitting

Forged fittings are high-strength components used to connect pipes and equipment in piping systems, especially where high pressure, high temperature, or hazardous fluids are involved. They are manufactured by forging solid metal blocks into desired shapes and are available in two main types: socket weld and threaded (screwed). Common forged fittings include elbows, tees, couplings, unions, bushings, plugs, and caps. These fittings are produced according to ASME B16.11 and BS 3799 standards, and typically come in pressure classes of 2000#, 3000#, and 6000#. They are made from materials such as carbon steel (A105, LF2), stainless steel (304, 316), and alloy steels (F11, F22, F91) to suit various industrial applications like oil & gas, petrochemicals, power generation, and marine systems.
